Option Flow & Unusual Activity on Stock Details

What it is

On each ticker’s Stock Details page, Maxx subscribers get two flow tabs:

• Option Flow — live options tape for that symbol only, plus the Net Flow chart (NCP/NPP, net volume, and underlying Price line)
• Unusual Activity — unusual prints for that symbol, with the same Net Flow chart underneath

Both deep-link as /stock/{symbol}/option-flow and /stock/{symbol}/unusual-activity.

Who can use it

Option Flow requires Maxx. Pro, Ultra, and unsigned-in users can explore the filter panel; the live tape is locked behind an upgrade card. Guests get an inline sign-up / sign-in gate in the tape column.

The global Option Flow page uses the same gate and can scan the full market; Stock Details locks the ticker for you.

On /option-flow, use the Symbols typeahead to add one or more tickers (chips). The live tape shows company logos beside each Tick. Net Flow opens only when exactly one symbol is selected — clear extras or click a Tick to toggle. Use the Cushion column and Contract filter for OTM distance at print time (same % formula as the screener).

Columns, sort, IV & Vol/OI

Use Columns above the Live Tape or Unusual Activity list to show or hide fields (Time and Tick stay on). Your choices stick in this browser. Click any header to sort across the full filtered session (not just the rows on screen); click again to flip ascending/descending. IV is implied volatility at the print; Vol/OI is today’s contract volume ÷ open interest (above 1 means more traded than was open at yesterday’s close). Under Highlights, turn on Size > OI for prints larger than open interest, or set Min Vol/OI (1× / 2× / 5×) to keep only elevated ratios.

Filters, search, and presets

• Search filters — at the top of the filter panel, type a name or shorthand (DTE, csp, sweep, premium) to show only matching controls.
• Strategy — filter for Call selling (CC), Put selling (CSP), Bought call, or Bought put. Sold call / sold put are bid-side single-leg prints; the tape cannot prove shares or cash back the sale. Multi-leg strategy filters are hidden for now (labels can still appear on the tape).
• Presets — use the pill row above the tape (Sold puts, Sold calls, Unusual, Bullish/Bearish sweeps, Large premium). All clears preset filters but keeps your Symbols and session date.

How to open it

1. Click any ticker to open Stock Details.
2. In the left nav, choose Option Flow or Unusual Activity.
3. On Option Flow, use filters (session, type, Strategy, premium, DTE, cushion, unusual activity, etc.) or tap a preset. Unusual Activity hides filters and always applies the unusual-activity rule.
4. Resize the divider between the tape (or unusual list) and Net Flow chart — the split is remembered in this browser.

Tips

• Prefer Unusual Activity when you only want flagged prints for that name (Net Flow still opens for the locked ticker).
• Use the full Option Flow page with multi-symbol chips when watching a shortlist, or clear Symbols to browse the whole tape.
• Narrow Cushion (e.g. above 0%) to focus on OTM prints, or below 0% for ITM.
• Start with the Sold puts or Sold calls preset, then tighten DTE / Cushion / Min premium.
• Use Columns to show IV and Vol/OI, then sort by Vol/OI or enable Size > OI when hunting opening-sized prints.
