The Conservative Wheel preset combines low delta, ample cushion, earnings exclusion, and large-cap bias for the safest possible wheel income.
What this preset does
The Conservative Wheel preset is the most defensive screen on the platform:
- Delta in the most conservative range
- Generous moneyness cushion
- Earnings excluded
- Liquidity Cleanup on
- Standard wheel DTE
Think of it as Earnings Safe + extra cushion.
When to use it
- Capital preservation is the priority.
- You're trading retirement money.
- The market feels frothy and you want defense.

You're managing a $250K wheel allocation in a retirement account:
- Open the Put screener.
- Apply Conservative Wheel Put preset.
- Add Market Cap ≥ $25B.
- Add Sector rotation across 5 sectors.
