- Brokerage Connection & Account Data (via SnapTrade): If you choose to connect one or more brokerage accounts through our integration partner SnapTrade, we receive certain information about those accounts from SnapTrade and/or your brokerage, such as account identifiers, institution names, account balances, positions (including option holdings), and transaction/activity data. We do not receive or store your brokerage login credentials.

- Transactional Emails: These include important notifications related to your account, such as account creation confirmations, trial period updates, subscription alerts, and payment notifications. These emails are essential for the operation of our services.

- Brokerage Connection & Trade Import: If you connect a brokerage account through SnapTrade, we use the account, position, and transaction data shared with us to provide features such as automatic trade import, portfolio summaries, performance analytics, and other tools designed to help you view, track, and analyze your options and stock activity. We do not use this data to place trades on your behalf.
Consent for Promotional Emails
When you register for our services or at other relevant points, we will obtain your consent to receive promotional emails. You will have the option to affirmatively agree to receive such communications.

SnapTrade and Brokerage Connections
- Third-Party Integration: When you choose to connect a brokerage account, you are using services provided by SnapTrade, a third-party platform that securely connects to supported brokerages. Your brokerage login credentials are handled by SnapTrade and/or your brokerage and are not shared with Wheel Strategy Options.
- Types of Data Received: Through our integration with SnapTrade, we may receive read-only data about your connected accounts, including account identifiers, institution names, currency, balances, holdings (including option positions), and historical or ongoing transaction/activity data that is necessary to support our trade-tracking and analytics features.
- Read-Only Access: Our access to your brokerage data via SnapTrade is intended to be read-only. We do not have the ability to place or modify trades, transfer funds, or otherwise exercise control over your brokerage accounts.
- Retention and Deletion: If you disconnect a brokerage account, we will stop requesting new data from SnapTrade for that account. We may retain previously imported data for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, unless you request deletion where applicable under law.
- Your Agreements with SnapTrade and Your Brokerage: Your use of SnapTrade and your brokerage's services is governed by the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of SnapTrade and your brokerage. We encourage you to review those documents carefully, as we do not control their practices.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure.

We believe in providing you with control over your information. Your choices include:
- Accessing and Updating Your Information: You can typically access and update your account information through your account settings.
