Excluded Stocks Filter: Block Tickers You Never Want to Wheel
Maintain a personal block-list of tickers (e.g., stocks you already own, names you can't stomach) so they never appear in your screener results.
Why an exclusion list matters
Some tickers you simply never want to wheel — maybe you already hold a max position, maybe the company is on your "avoid" list, maybe a past loss left a bad taste. The Excluded Stocks filter keeps them out of every result without you having to scan past them again.
Where to find it
In the advanced section of the sidebar (or via the omnisearch). Add tickers as pills; remove with the X.
A simple workflow
- Build a normal screen.
- When a ticker shows up that you'll never wheel, click the row's "Exclude" action.
- The ticker is added to your exclusion list and never appears again until you remove it.
Common use cases
- Stocks you already hold a full position in.
- Companies you've decided to permanently avoid.
- Tickers with constant earnings or news risk.
- Underlyings on which you took past losses.
Where to go next
- Pair with Ticker Search for the inclusion side.
- Save the result as a screener so the exclusion list rides along.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are excluded stocks saved across sessions?
Yes. The exclusion list persists in your screener filter state and is included when you save a screener for reuse.
