Ticker Search & Watchlist Filter: Screen Only Stocks You Care About

Type tickers or load your watchlist to restrict the screener to only the stocks you want to wheel. The fastest way to focus a session.

What it does

The screener's search box lets you restrict the entire scan to a list of tickers. Type "AAPL, MSFT, NVDA" and the table will only contain those three stocks' options.

This is the fastest way to focus a session when you already have a buy list or own specific shares.

Where to find it

The search box sits at the top of both screeners. You can also click the omnisearch overlay (Cmd/Ctrl+K) for a richer experience that includes:

  • Recent searches
  • Your watchlist
  • Suggested symbols
  • AI query examples

How to use it

Workflow 1 — Wheel watchlist sweep.

  • Type your watchlist as a comma-separated list.
  • Apply your favorite preset.
  • Sort by Rating to surface the best contract from each.

Workflow 2 — Single-name analysis.

  • Type one ticker.
  • Compare every available strike/expiration.
  • Pick the optimal contract.

Workflow 3 — Already own shares.

  • Type the ticker you own.
  • Switch to the Covered Call screener.
  • Set Moneyness ≥ +3% to keep the strike above your cost basis.

Watchlist integration

If you've built a Watchlist, it appears as a one-click filter in the omnisearch overlay. Saved searches and watchlists make repeat sessions a 10-second exercise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I screen multiple tickers at once?

Yes. Type a comma-separated list (e.g., 'AAPL, MSFT, NVDA') in the search box, or use the omnisearch overlay (Cmd/Ctrl+K) to add tickers as pills.

How is the watchlist different from the search box?

The watchlist is a saved list you can apply with one click and reuse across sessions. The search box is for ad-hoc queries. Power users save their wheel-eligible universe as a watchlist.
